My journey of being a therapist started when I was trying to understand my own identity and sense of self. When I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2013 I had to make changes to my life and grieve the loss of my more able body. Through exploration and understanding I have been able to manage my health and had to learn that having this condition does not define me. I think we are too quick to define ourselves by the norms created around us. I encourage my clients to define their own normal.
I became a therapist as I like to help people learn and develop better ways to handle issues that are standing in the way of achieving their full potential. I learn a lot from my clients and really value the therapeutic relationship. My clients say I am easy to talk to, easy to be open with and non-judgemental.
I provide a warm, friendly, confidential space, where you can feel safe, challenged and have the autonomy to explore whatever is on your mind. The outcome of therapy I most value is seeing my clients personal growth; it is a wonderful thing to watch. I feel that the process of therapy is a rewarding experience.

INTEGRATIVE HUMANISTIC APPROACH...
...using Existential, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis and Person-Centred techniques.
The aim of humanistic therapy is to help you develop a stronger, healthier sense of self. I care about the present moment and want you to achieve your highest potential. I specialise in Psychosexual and Relationship therapy, and also have experience in Loss and Bereavement.
Psychosexual & Relationship Therapy
A lot of people find it difficult to talk about sex and their body, fantasies and desires. I can help you explore your thoughts and feelings, and together we can work out solutions to any problems whether sexual or relational.
Loss & Bereavement
Most people will experience loss at some point in their lives. Grief is a reaction to any form of loss. Coping with the loss of a loved one shouldn't be something done alone. Some people prefer to talk within family, friends and people they know well. However, many people either don’t have that option - they have no-one they feel close enough to who isn’t grieving too - or may find it easier and more effective to talk to a professional bereavement counsellor.
PSYCHOSEXUAL & RELATIONSHIP ISSUES:
Psychosexual therapy addresses sexual dysfunction and/or emotional blocks within a relationship. I can provide an outlet for you to talk about your issues in a trusted supportive space.
